Although it’s been almost 20 years after his death, Brynn Jones continues to give us musical gems. Previously unreleased ‘Ali Zarin’ has just surfaced from the vast sum of his work. A 43-minute album, which consists of sounds and rhythms that portray the cultural dissonance typical of Brynn. Another major peculiarity lies in the use of recordings taken directly from Al Jazeera broadcasts.

The album consists of 8 tracks. The first three, entitled ‘Ali Zarin (Part I, II, III)‘, represent a hypnotic journey that evolves between noise, idm, electronic and Arab sounds. The others are demo songs of fine workmanship that depict perfectly the style of Muslimgauze . I think no more words are needed to describe this genius. A great gift for the summer, you cannot miss it!

Enjoy!
