This is what Tony Reflex shared on the Adolescents‘ Twitter account a few hours ago. Punk legend Steve Soto, co-founder of seminal punk groups such as Adolescents and Agent Orange is no more among us. Steve died on June 27th at the age of 54.
It was 1980 when Soto in 1980 alongside Tony Reflex, Frank and Rick Agnew, and Casey Royer founded the groundbreaking punk band. The punk legend led the band for the following decades, playing the bass (1980-81, 1986-98, 2001 through today). 2016’s ‘Manifest Density‘ was Adolescent’s latest full-length.
Legal Weapon, Joyride, 22 Jacks, Manic Hispanic, & PinUps were also punk outfits Soto had been involved with.
