Pretenders, a band hailing from the past and mainly  from the post-punk era of late ‘70s, is back with a new video of their recent cut ‘Holy Commotion‘, from the upcoming full-length ‘Alone‘ (October 21st); the first since 2008’s ‘Break Up The Concrete‘.

Although the lineup has changed multiple times since 1978,  Chrissie Hynde, along with original line-up’s drummer Martin Chambers, remain the only original members. For ‘Holy Commotion’ Pretenders collaborated with The Black KeysDan Auerbach (recorded in his studio in Nashville), while the video was directed and animated by Luca Monterosso Whittmann. ‘Holy Commotion’ is a contemporary indie pop song with some features that remind discreetly the past and the ‘Holy’ post-punk era.
