Last Thursday the beloved artist Nick Cave let out the new ‘Jesus Alone‘ official video. The song is from ‘Skeleton Tree‘, the new forthcoming 8-track LP which will be released on September 9th. It is also included in “One More Time With Feeling”, a performance filmed in black and white, directed by Andrew Dominik which will be released on September 8th.
The song is a down-tempo, numb narration about loss and faith on the piano, assisted by the strings’ prudent and discreet arrangement: a Nick Cave ballad. Listen to the lyrics, the story of his recent tragedy (the loss of his son), narrated respectively by the artist and performed by The Bad Seeds in their usual high quality skills.
