Daniel O`Rhys

(neoclassical, contemporary)

Daniel O Rhys is thinking in musical suites. “Slow Book” is the first piece from the “Black Forest Suite”, whichis now going to be released song by song. Piano music that seems to be written for nature. With the forest as audience, animals appearing in the fog, silence as the sustaining element. The pieces by Daniel O’Rhys are miniatures of a calm world, fragile and beautiful. “Slow Book” is the beginning of a story about peace. “I am thinking of myself as a piano player, a traveller and a collector. My consciousness can not separate these things. Everything is just a trail sign if you are in a constantly travelling state of mind. I welcome you to be part of this journey!”
