  1. Dream Police  ‘Revenge

The New Yorkers Dream Police released the brand new track ‘Revenge’ and it is the first release after three years since their debut album ‘Hypnotized‘ (Sacred Bones Records, 2014). The new track is a bedroom recording and was recorded by Mark Perro in his bedroom with the contribution of the rest band’s members. Nevertheless, it sounds like a clever sound recipe that hooks the listener from the first till the very last second.   A repetitive bass line by Russ Hymowitz,  a drum machine for keeping the desirable rhythm by Mark, some piano and synth organ keys and  in the end for the  track’s completion  was added another vital ingredient; The lyrics that were written by Nick Chiericozzi while he was bored at work and was driving to make deliveries. But his inspiration was forcing him to stop every few blocks.  Finally Chiericozzi’s vocals were recorded also by Mark Perro and in the same bedroom. So the track was ready for mastering and release. Enjoy!

  1. Paradox Obscur – ‘A Different Hum

Paradox Obscur is a minimal synth duo from Greece, featuring Toxic Razor & Kriistal Ann. Recently, they released their excellent, 3rd album ‘Artifact‘ (Young & Cold Records). ‘A Different Hum’ is one of the most outstanding tracks of the latter, cleverly chosen to become a video. An ideal one directed & filmed by Pavel Vishnevsky matching perfectly with the unique art of Paradox Obscur.
