  1. Sermon – ‘The Descend’

Sermon is a mysterious new band from London that keeps its masterminds anonymous. Their debut album ‘Birth of the Marvellous‘ is out on March 22nd via Prosthetic Records. The band made a statement the day the track ‘The Descend‘ premiered, in which they describe the context of the album that is a balance between the spiritual and the theological.

  1. Montana Wildhack – ‘Leroy’

The dreamy & noise quintet from Frementle, Australia Montana Wildhack recently shared a new great four track EP entitled ‘Soak‘. ‘Leroy‘ is the opening track, with the dreamy vocals, and the long “drawn”, noisy guitars forming an absolutely atmospheric sonic experience. Montana Wildhack are Aliza, Leah, Tobyn, Thom and Fraser.

  1. Empty Nesters – ‘I’m Not Ok, but It’s Ok.

I’m Not Ok, but It’s Ok.‘ came from the fifth EP ‘Tired and Bored‘ of the solo lo-fi/garage project of Eric Liao, Empty Nesters, from Ottawa, Ontario. On live performances and recordings Eric Liao requests according to his creating needs the contribution of the bassist & vocalist Philip Caunter and of the drummer Robert Thomson. For the recording of ‘I’m Not Ok, but It’s Ok.‘ Robert Thomson offers his drum skills. Although, mainly all recordings are done by Eric Liao himself, furthermore the album artwork is also created by him. Enjoy!

  1. Heyrocco – ‘Destroyer’

Will get a bit personal now: I’ve never hidden my love for 90s grunge heroes Nirvana and lo-fi behemoths, Pavement. What if a 2019 track is heavily influenced by those two bands and at the same time breaths fresh air? Then you have ‘Destroyer‘ by Heyrocco, a North Carolina trio, that if you happen to be in UK the very next few days make sure not to miss those dudes…
