- Ellende – ‘Du wärst eine schöne Leiche’
Ellende were founded in 2011 in Austria, first as a solo project and then turned into a live project with session musicians. The name of the band derives form a Middle High German word which initially meant “exiled” and in modern German is now translated as “miserable”. Their new album ‘Lebensnehmer‘ will be released on March 29th via AOP Records.
- Cage The Elephant – ‘Ready To Let Go‘
The brand new single ‘Ready To Let Go‘ just arrived this week, with an official video directed by the band’s front man Matt Shultz. This is the first preview from the upcoming new album of the Kentucky based indie rock group Cage The Elephant. Their fifth album ‘Social Cues‘ will be officially available on April 19th via RCA.
The lead single is a painful personal reference of Matt’s life, a “trip” with his wife where both realized that they had to dissolve their marriage. “It’s hard when you love each other, but it just won’t work, ” he sings. “I’m glad to be past it.“
- The Theory For Our Revenge – ‘朧(OBORO)’
Ready for an indie electro heavenly track from Japan? If so, you may proceed and listen to the debut single ‘OBORO‘ by The Theory For Our Revenge. Pretty unique vocals, like a fairy from the “frozen” North, ecstatic synths, broken beats, plenty of indie spirit combined with tons of experimentation and there you have this banger. A track that nobody can predict what will happen in its very next seconds; A sonic adventure, experience if you prefer, for every music fan. Grandiose!
- Fabian Secon – ‘Girl Named Stacy‘
The latest single by Brixton, London-born singer Fabian Secon, ‘Girl Named Stacy‘, is a genuine ‘amalgam’ of the artist’s main influences: Contemporary R&B, trap, hip hop and punk rock (at least the energy!). The track is a dark “diamond” and this is what Fabian says: “‘Girl Named Stacy’ is a frat party banger. It has dark sinister synths to go alongside distorted bass and hard drums.” We couldn’t agree more…
- Bedstudy – ‘I-V’
Bedstudy is a 3-piece electro-R&B group based in Brooklyn, New York, and ‘I-V‘ is their latest finely-calibrated single. The trio is more than capable of combining classic with modern sound unleashing their eclectic electro rnb & vapor soul for the life in the “urban uncertainty”. On the contrary with the majority of modern RnB, these 3 dudes create passionate & poetic music and are not afraid to “colour the colorless drawing of the urban void”.
