  1. Swervedriver – ‘Mary Winter’

Mary Winter‘ is the first preview from the upcoming album ‘Future Ruins of the British indie rock/shoegaze band Swervedriver. Between shoegaze, space rock, psychedelia and dream-pop the space travelers Swervedriver crafted their sound over the years, to be full of sonic textures of swirling guitars. Though their break up in 1999 they never stopped their “space cruising”. In 2008 they reunited with a new line up and ‘Future Ruins‘ will be their second album since then.

Mary Winter‘ will make all their fans get excited, since nothing has changed in their music all these years, their rock n’ roll space travel is continuous, full of noise and without any boundaries.

  1. Devil Master – ‘Gates of Pain‘

There are many notions about technical similarities in black metal and punk. Many black metal bands have made this connection more obvious and one of them is Devil Master from the US with two sold-out demos. Their debut album is coming in early 2019 via Relapse Records.

  1. Papercuts – ‘All Along St. Mary’s

Papercuts is the indie pop/shoegaze mixed with 60’s pop aesthetics project of San Francisco-based Jason Robert Quever. Apart from Quever, there are also other friends of his involved with most common one, David Enos (keys).  From the recently released latest album, ‘Parallel Universe Blues‘ (Slumberland Records) we chose ‘All Along St. Mary’s‘ for this week’s mixtape.

A song which is like a correlation of The Jesus And The Mary Chain‘s ‘Darklands‘ sound along with Papercuts’ very own unique one. The atmosphere of this gem is just epic and it is almost certain that it will “flood” every lonely room this winter.

  1. Sarah MacDougall – ‘We Are Fire

Save the date: November 2nd! Why? The 4th album ‘All The Hours I Have Left To Tell You Anything by mesmerizing Canadian performer Sarah MacDougall is being released. ‘We Are Fire‘ is the 2nd single (after ‘Empire‘), a track of colossal beauty, that will leave you just amazed by its melodic immediacy. A grandiose tune of lush harmonies and memorable lyrics. “A homage to those brave enough to break the boxes“. as MacDougall said about the track. Superb!

  1. Heir– ‘Restless‘

Heir is a DIY-pop quintet and ‘Restless‘ is an ultra-elegant indie pop track with soaring vocal harmonies, ear-melting synths and uplifting vibes, having the right stuff to “arise the sleepy princess” and lead her to relentless dancing! Endlessly-playable  and charming…
