Balitmore’s Micfreak returns to Unquantize Recordings with a brilliant follow up to his label album debut, ‘Feelin’ It’, delivering some deep, jackin’ underground heat with his new single ‘Hot Hot Hot House’. Led by a distinctive piano hook, underpinned by a warm jackin’ groove, ‘Hot Hot Hot House’ comes with a taste of the old school armed with a soulful spoken word. Also on the package, legendary Swedish House maestro Johan S brings his infectious peak time drive to the dance floor, injecting a booming bassline, punchy kicks and electrifying break downs to rock the party! Already receiving heavy support from the likes of Masters At Work in Croatia and more, this looks set to be one of the big tunes of late summer!

Michael Cobaria aka Micfreak is a producer, dj and artist from Baltimore. A multi-instrumentalist, Micfreak brings his love of piano, guitar and drums into his productions, playing everything himself to create his own unique sound. He likes to fuse squelching and melodic synth lines, drippy arpeggios, throbbing and funky basslines and supersized beats. Micfreak’s music has been released on labels such as Angelo Ferreri’s Mono Side, JPaul Getto’s Fogbank and DJ Spen’s Quantize & Unquantize imprints, among others, regularly charting on both Beatport and Traxsource. DJ Spen took notice of this emerging talent and took him under his wing, releasing his debut album ‘Feelin’ It’ to great acclaim on Unquantize Recordings earlier this year.

Sweden’s Johan S has remixed for and collaborated with the likes of Todd Terry, Low Steppa, Hatiras and Mattei & Omich, to name a few. His works have been released on labels such as Simma Black, Armada, Undr The Radr, Freakin909, Glasgow Underground, Phoenix Music, Blacksoul, Guesthouse, Amplified, Hot Stuff, Sense Traxx, Quantize and his own label Subtractive Recordings. He has had more than 500 commercial releases and remixes to date and boasts more than 100K fans on Spotify. Feel good house music is the best way to describe the sound of Johan S, but he is no stranger to pop music either as he was the man behind the multimillion selling single “Crying At The Discoteque” by Alcazar a few years ago and he was also wrote and produced Alcazar´s first 2 albums. In the past year Johan has scored several club hits and Beatport and Traxsource top chart positions, gaining strong support from DJ´s like Gorgon City, Roger Sanchez, Low Steppa, Todd Terry, Alaia & Gallo, Claude VonStroke, Gene Farris, Eats Everything, Demuir, Angelo Ferreri and Mousse T.
