It’s been well over 35 years since EBM scene appeared. Years in which we could admire acts such as Front 242; Precursors of gender and peak leaders who have given us unique musical gems and moments. It’s a huge surprise that 2017 will give birth to two projects connected of this fantastic group, prior to its emergence.
Especially Daniel B. Prothese (Daniel Bressanutti’s solo project) proposes limited edition ‘Überlastung‘ (subtitled AIIHB0A0) with his debut album. The album will be based on sound elaborations with minimal noise character and will contain recordings from mid ’90’s until 2010. The album will be released in limited edition vinyl format (colored formats) and cd.
Another project that arouses much curiosity is created by Patrick Codenys and Jean-Luc De Meyer, with their Underviewer project (again in limited edition). And this one will propose re-adapted old recordings with the Front 242’s mastery.
So we await with great joy February 10th, feeling lucky enough to hear about these ‘new’ side projects, and probably many other surprises of these pillars of EBM.
