Roi Vaara was born in Moss, Norway and currently lives in Helsinki. He is an internationally acclaimed Finnish performance artist. He has performed over 300 performances and his works have been presented in exhibitions in over 30 countries. He is a member of the famous performance group Black Market International since 1988 and has lectured and held workshops in art colleges, universities and academies since 1989.
Beate Linne is a visual artist, who is mainly working in the field of performance art and installation. Beside her solo works, she has been collaborated with various artist like Bálint Sombáthy, in the artist duo Linne & Vaara and Black Market International. She gives workshops, lectures, and co-curated performance festivals like Transart Communication Festival and the international performance art festival Blow! Since 2008 her art works was been presented in different contexts in over 20 countries around the world.
