Mike G – ‘Purchase’

About Mike G

Mike G (born Michael Griffin) established a strong reputation as a creative force from the jump, first garnering international attention as part of the acclaimed, forward-thinking collective, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All.

While moving around often as a kid, due to his parents serving in the marines, Mike began exploring his interests in music as a teenager, going on to compose and record his first song at 16. From spending seven years of his childhood in Japan to singing in a choir to becoming enamored by his parent’s vast CD collection, he was surrounded by no shortage of inspiration growing up, soon teaching himself how to chop and screw music. With his passion for DJing and pursuing music solidified at an early age, and artists such as Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Linkin Park, D-12’s Proof and JAY-Z serving as lifelong influences, Mike G began rapping and self-releasing mixtapes in high school, a move that led him to collaborating with fellow Odd Future member Left Brain.

Shiny Darkly – ‘Roll the Dice’ ft. Sharin Foo

About Shiny Darkly

Shiny Darkly are Kristoffer Bech (vocals and guitar), Mads Lassen (drums) and Oliver Matthew Volz (bass guitar). With a nod to the intense post punk of Joy Division, the searing synths marching in The Soft Moon, and hours spent worshipping at the discordant altar of the Jesus and Mary Chain, their haunting sound puts them at the dark heart of the wave of Nordic Noir music.

wwoman – ‘Chuchi’

About wwoman

wwoman’s G Smee moved from a well off suburban family home directly into an active Florida crackhouse, and stayed for five years. Earlier this year they ran a full marathon with no prior training (having run just a single mile the night before to see how it felt). Gi follows the ‘let’s see what will happen’ game-plan, mostly just to outrun boredom. So it makes sense that a couple years ago, after moving back from the crack house experiment, they sold everything they owned to buy a studio full of old recording equipment that they had no idea how to use. And now, this constantly curious and discontent weirdo has temporarily found a new nook to enjoy.
