Hamtramck Rabbit – ‘Atom & Eve’

About Hamtramck Rabbit

Hamtramck Rabbit was born in the metro Detroit area, spent some time commuting to Chicago, but mostly just hung out in a laptop playing around with a midi controller. During its upbringing it was shaped by many things, such as experimental music, psychedelia, mind bending films and video games. This lead to the development of a dark and introspective sound centered around the blending of several electronic genres.

Khemist – ‘Stay For Me’

About Khemist

Rapper, songwriter, poet and multi-instrumentalist, Khemist is a Philadelphia-bred artist and musical savant beloved as a bonafide lyrical force. Hailing from the city’s Logan Valley, Khemist is an extraterrestrial talent endowed with the hawkish ability to see the streets and set the Dickensian conditions of his formative years to music. Plied with eloquence and empathy, his catalog is punctuated by the monotone delivery and rough-hewn exterior he developed surviving a charmed but bittersweet life amidst the blighted haunts, brutalist architecture and cold shoulders of a hardscrabble, post-industrial city.

Raven Artson – ‘Locks For You’ (feat. True Blue)

About Raven Artson

Los Angeles-Amsterdam-based multi-hyphenate Raven Artson explores artistic growth at the edge of ecstasy and thrill. In doing so, he carves out a unique sound that is simultaneously otherworldly as authentically human.

A junction of sorts, where Raven finds inspiration to write. As he puts it himself: “I’m interested in the coexistence of ideas; in allowing the process of winning and losing to connect.” The result is a vibe that’s hard to pigeonhole – call it slow motion hyper pop, call it tear dripping auto tune.

This vision led to airplay by BBC1’s Jack Saunders and Elton John, contributing to Sevdaliza’s sophomore album, composing the soundtrack for Madja Amin’s ‘May’ and playing the lead role in Folkert Verdoorn’s short film ‘The Performer’. He might not be aware himself, but Raven is slowly becoming the pop-icon he always looked up to.

Ursidae – ‘Amber Reflection’ (Feat. Sjfleish)

About Ursidae

Ursidae is the musical project of Josh Ingram, whose unique sound is characterized as an ever-evolving fusion of house, techno and world music. Ingram’s intricate and experimental sound design stems from his upbringing, an environment which fostered his need for musical exploration. With a professor of music theory for a father and a background in classical piano, music has been central to his life from the start.

Starting in 2017, the Washington, D.C. based producer has performed at renowned venues like Flash and The Airedale, as well as his debut performance at Beauty in the Backyard music festival.

The core purpose of Ursidae is to inspire love and introspection in the often fast-paced and individualistic music scene through layers of hypnotically energizing tones and rhythms.
