Tonight we feel ecstatic for the exclusive premiere St Lucifer‘s ‘Sirens‘, the lead track & video from upcoming ‘FutureNoisePsychology‘ 4-track EP, out on October 16th via the akways reliable AnalogueTrash. The song is absolute class; An infinite, anthemic electro-punk banger, with some of the most memorable synth patterns we have been blessed to hear for the past few years. It’s a vortex of emotions; A broken, out of control rollercoaster, which is constantly spinning and dragging lock stock and barrel in its whirlpool!

Speaking of ‘Sirens‘, founding member David says:

The lyrics are painfully poignant for me, after assuming the ‘not quite planned’ role of lead vocalist. Alice Class and Ashleigh Talbot provide the most expressive rhythm section combination to date; with thumping toms and melodic five string bass flourishes throughout the song. Meanwhile our long-time collaborator Amy Griffiths (aka Still Forever) provides alternate waves of lush and abrasive synth patterns, not just on Sirens, but across the course of the EP.”

The shot on b&w video created & directed by Ashleigh Talbot and Nadia Castle, which plays on themes of isolation, mental health and moving forward after trauma, is a more than perfect match with the soundscapes. leading to a top result.

Important Note: This one should only be played at full blast!
