In February 2016 a film was released based on a Marvel Comics character created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza. That film was “Deadpool” starring Ryan Reynolds. Which I reviewed on my own Mr Geeky Blog.

I had heard a lot about the “Deadpool” comics up to this point and could see they have a huge fan-base. In actual fact I was first aware of the character when he first appeared in the film “X Men Origins: Wolverine” in 2009. Many fans were not happy with this depiction of the character. Having seen “Deadpool” I can understand why. The faithful depiction of the character had been a passion project for Ryan Reynolds since 2009.

Well in 2018 there is to be a Deadpool sequel. I for one am very excited to again see the fourth wall breaking foul mouthed anti-hero in all his glory.

Although before then we now have “Deadpool: No Good Deed” directed by “Deadpool 2” director David Leitch. It is actually not a trailer or a teaser for “Deadpool”, but a self-contained short film shot specifically to be shown before the film “Logan” in the US.

And it’s exactly what we expect, and more!
