The World is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die are an indie rock band based in Connecticut with a message (not just a runner up for world’s longest band moniker). With newly released single ‘Gram’ they not only take on the American healthcare system and all of it’s pharmaceutical glory/misery, they also make it sound like a quality track. “But the drug store still ends up with all our money,” is sung in the second verse, coming from a band who’s home state is home to the headquarters of multiple pharmaceutical corporations. Off of the upcoming ‘Always Foreign’ all proceeds from purchases via Bandcamp benefited the Immigrant Defense Project until October 5th.

Other tracks off of the album take Trump and other politicians to task, as well as the current political climate such as ‘Faker’ and ‘Fuzz Minor’ a scathing push against racists. You can find ‘Always Foreign’ out now via Epitaph.
