Three tracks that need to be listened. Three tracks “buzzzing”. Hand-picked by Last Day Deaf for you…

Artist: Crywolf

Track: ‘CEPHALØTUS’

Genre: indie electronic

Justin Taylor Phillips aka Crywolf has created a sublime indie electronic piece of art with ‘CEPHALØTUS‘ off his latest album ‘widow [OBLIVIØN Pt. I]‘. Built upon his charismatic voice, this ethereal doom and highly cinematic masterpiece will travel you somewhere far away. The production is masterful and all we can state is that this magnificent track and artist needs your attention; Here and now, for your own sake.

I’m growing up and dying every minute you exist
I’ll venture down into your tombs
A peristome-covered womb

Artist: Birch

Track: ‘Spelling Lessons’

Genre: indie pop

Hope you are ready for some really catchy indie pop, with lyrical content. Birch is the moniker for musician & producer Michelle Birsky and the flawless, indie pop gem ‘Spelling Lessons‘ will make you sing-along “And I’m not the one you came for“. If you like indie pop mixed with dream pop elements, then you should add this tune on top of your playlist.

Artist: Social Contract

Track: ‘Common Tongue’

Genre: indie rock

Social Contract is a 4-piece band coming from South London, and their 2nd single ‘Common Tongue‘ is an absolute indie rock banger. The press about the track reads that this “is a raw and spell-binding tale of the post-war new towns movement in England and how the years left those cities to fend for themselves as government funding was cut down.” What we say is that the guitar work for ‘Common Tongue‘ is stunning with riffs that will get you hooked on ths one for days. Stalwarts of brti indie rock should by all means dig this!
