Starting this Blues Boom round-up with the born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri USA, artist Mojo Watson and his blues rock/r&b gem, that speaks on some of our societal realities, that are often times inequalities, which still persist in some pockets of modern-day localities. A track with a raw heart!

Mark Alan Wilson gifts us with an emotive blues/indie rock treasure; A song about wanting to rid yourself of that anxiety driven life and wanting to simply float along. ‘River‘ is honest and beautiful!

Mentored by Bentonia, MS bluesman Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, Ryan Lee Crosby travelled to Memphis to record deep blues with producer Bruce Watson (R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough) in Memphis, TN. Judging by ‘Down So Long‘, the outcome is utterly rewarding!

Adam Hattaway and the Haunters hail from Christchurch, New Zealand, and ‘Waiting For the Chill‘ is an ideal blend of classic rock, blues rock and americana, unmissable for die-hard fans who still love the tried-and-true style of those legendary bands!

John Byrne is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Liverpool composing and playing music that fans of Frank Zappa, Carlos Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Bonamassa, Animals As Leaders and John Scofield will appreciate. His instrumental blues treat ‘Moore’s Law‘ may very well be the finest introduction to the unaware ones!

According to its creator, singer-songwriter Tucker Ronzetti ‘the song is a journey – acoustic blues growing into an upbeat melody, with a rhythmic outro. I wrote this song because things can seem so awful lately, but we only have one go around (that we know)‘. ‘Armageddon Blues‘ is a transcendent mix of blues, americana and classic rock….We say!

Canadian outfit The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderer‘s ‘Pretty Please‘ is a fine sample of the recorded live off the floor ‘Live At The King Eddy‘ live album;  This tune is incredibly raw and will defo get you moving!

.

Singer/songwriter Michael Taylor delivers a flawless, ultra addictive and modern country-blues gem. Its name is ‘Round In The Chamber‘, and we simply cannot get enough!
