What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.
We met through an advertisement on a site and I sent Cem some demos and home recordings, then we jammed and decided to form a band together in may 2017. We blended our chemistry so fast and recorded an EP later that year. In october 2, we released our debut single ‘Run Baby Run’ from our upcoming Ep.
Provide us with some info about your latest release…
‘Run Baby Run’ was the first song that excited both of us. That song reminded us the songs from 50s and 60s. And the song itself about losing yourself for desire, we mostly desire the ones we love and the ones we gonna lose in the end so rather than a person I guess I’m all after that desire thing, it’s more real.
Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?
For music wise we really dig in 60s bands they play huge influence for our music. But of course time-to-time we influenced by other decades like 90s alternative music, that made a huge impact in our childhood. But all come together when we discover delta blues musicians, I guess that was the missing piece of the puzzle. And for non-music wise mostly literature and visual arts really feed us to death. After finishing a book or visiting a gallery or something it’s hard not to see some wild stories popping around in our head.
In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?
Well first of all, we’re not purists and rather than stucking inside in a genre or a scene we mostly like to blend those inspirations from the past, we like merging genres in our way. In other words we like to tell a familiar story in an unfamiliar way and hopefully with a strange ending . So we’re always in a search to find a way to make things interesting for us and then for the people. So to speak we’re not just re-visiting the genres we love, we’re trying to rewrite them.
Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…

Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?
Live period, we love the energy of the audience resonating with our songs.
Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?
Nope.
Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?
Well so far, ‘Sin will find you out’ from our upcoming Ep I guess. It has quite distinctive groove apart from other songs we made and with a reference to our favourite verse on the Bible.
Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?
We’re gonna release our debut Ep soon and we already wrote new songs for our second Ep which we will record in 2019. Also we started promoting our debut Ep and want to book as many shows as we can before returning to studio.
Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…
Can you tell us what it is like to make music with two people?
We just like keeping things simple and we believe connection between two people is very strong, and maybe that kind of connection is hard to achieve when more people involved. In this way things work binary you know, zeros and ones no place for gray areas, it is more honest. Of course that also creates its own challenges as well while writing music and push us to find or discover new ways.
