What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.
I guess it all started way back in high school with doing music as a subject. We were asked to record ourselves playing an instrument as a part of a project and I remember coming across some DJ free to download software, which we played around with for fun, which slowly ended up in making our own mixes for car rides, gym sessions etc, which turned into playing friends parties.. fast forward a few years and we are now playing some of our favourite nightclubs which is still so surreal for us! But in terms of music production that naturally came about and progressed with our DJing. The more we played other people’s music the more we wanted some original pieces of work to play our live at our shows, so we got to work and here we are!
Provide us with some info about your latest release…
Our latest release ‘Came To Jack’ which released via Breakpoint Records is one of our favourite tunes to date if we are completely honest, it’s filled with many dark and eerie leads and FX which release represents the music we love to listen to and the direction we are taking
Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?
Chris Lake, AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo will definitely be high up on that list!
In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?
We love ALL house and I guess we implement bits and pieces of different sub genres of house to make one nice big dirty mix of the lot for your underground house needs!
Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…
This is a tough one.. would have to be the Ministry of Sound annual mix up cds! And anything comedy for movies, not much of a reader though haha!
Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?
This is tough, we love each so much however when you’re playing to a solid crowd and they’re vibing there’s not many better feelings in the world!
Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?
N/A
Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?
I think the most unique track we have is Belly Of The Beast, which we co-wrote with a good mate of ours; Daniel Tonik. Belly of the Beast was a very UK grime/ bassine inspired track and definitely would be our most “unique” track with Aussie rapper Bigredcap spitting some fire over the track.
Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?
Our future plan is to keep making the music we love and have passion in! we hope that you can all hear the passion in each track and follow this adventurous journey with us!
Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…
