What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.

I started playing piano briefly in high school before dropping out. I had an hour period of “music class” where I was left alone at a piano in a tiny room and started making songs by pressing whatever keys sounded nice together. I’ve slowly developed from there, but am basically still doing the same thing.

Provide us with some info about your latest release

This is my first album. It’s based around piano compositions and overdubbed with vocals, flute, idiophones and modular synth.

Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?

Memory networks centered around death. The concept of groundlessness.

In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?

I try pretty hard not to think about how my sound differs or is similar to other people. I’m always hoping it doesn’t sound similar but also would rather not know one way or another.

Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…

Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?

Just now figuring out my live set. I really love recording a lot though.

Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?

I dropped a piano on my foot when I was like 15 and my toes swelled double their size.

Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?

Maybe “I’m In The Water”. It’s based around a tape loop but I have no idea what instrument I recorded onto it. So it’s just this mysterious chord progression to me. I have the worst memory.

Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?

Recording a second album. Playing shows soon.

Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…

What are you eating right now?

Like 7 Oreos and some oat milk that I bought on accident.
