What inspired you to first start making music? And how did you come to be in your current incarnation? Or if you prefer, a brief bio about you.

When Marty McFly and the Starlighters performed at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. That was pretty much the moment that inspired my early guitar playing. At some point I will learn how to play Johnny B. Goode. Marco and I met through a mutual friend but didn’t start writing together for a few years later in film and television projects. Everything came into fruition inside the magical place that is… ‘the cube’, our shared studio space on 1 Sumach Street in Toronto.

Provide us with some info about your latest release…

It’s a studio project so we’re taking it piece by piece. First track is ‘high-top kicks’ and the rest will trickle out over the next few months. Nothing is really done in a traditional way. Which is maybe why is sounds a little unhinged. Either way, we’re happy with the result so far.

Which ones would you consider your main influences both music-wise & non-music-wise?

I think we both have influences that are all over the map. For me, the ones that relate to this project are in the world of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pixies, White Stripes,..There’s an English electropunk band called Robots in Disguise that I would credit as well. They’ve been a musical and non-musical influence.

In what way does your sound differ from the rest genre-related artists/bands and why should we listen to your music? In other words, how would you describe your sound?

What we’re doing with this project is a little more free I think. Disheveled and carefree are a couple descriptive words I would use.

Please name your 3 desert islands albums, movies & books…

Surfer Rosa – Pixies, Arrested Development (TV series), The Dictionary.

Do you prefer studio or performing live and why?

Live- Just seeing how different cultures and cities respond to music.

Is there any funny-unique story you would like to share with us, always in relation to your music ‘career’?

Marco Here– Our last band collided with a moose in Oromocto, New Brunswick. We survived, but the moose died. The van was a write off and I haven’t toured since.

Which track of your own would you point out as the most unique and why?

We have this song called “Dynamite”, which incorporates very different styles and artists. It’s either gonna go over fantastically or horribly.

Would you like to share with our readers your future plans?

Right now we’re just planning to record and release more music and hopefully see you all in the near future.

Free question!!! (Ask yourself a question) you wish to answer and haven’t been given the opportunity…

What artist would you love most to be involved with this project?

Probably Danger Mouse, Mark Ronson or an Interesting vocalist. Iggy Pop would be epic.
