Simi Valley, California will once again be host to the annual Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Music Festival for the 28th year this Memorial Day weekend. The event takes place Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th at Rancho Santa Susanna Community Park at 5005 Los Angeles Ave. in Simi Valley. There will be non-stop music each day from noon until 7:30pm and 10:30am to 8:30pm.

Headliners for the event have been announced, with blues-rock legends The Yardbirds and the Robby Krieger Band (celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Doors), Mitch Ryder, Lazy Lester, and the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Festival favorite, Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers, will be making their return for the fourth straight year, along with Grammy winning accordionist Jo-El Sonnier and The Cajun Trio, LA-based rockers The 44’s, singer Alex Nester, and Kelly’s Lot.
